PRACTICE WEAR:
Loose comfortable exercise clothing where instructors can see feet (no jeans or baggy, long sweats),
hair pulled off face. Proper dance wear such as ballet leotard and tights or Pokotillo t-shirts and tights are suggested
for practice.
FOOTWEAR:
Dancers are responsible for their own practice and performance footwear:
Leather dance slippers for practice. Red ballet shoes (girls), black leather ballet or jazz slippers (boys),
red dance boots (adults) for performances.
COSTUMES:
The Ukrainian Orthodox Community in Kamloops graciously lends the group
some of the costumes they use and Pokotillo owns the rest.
Pokotillo rents out club costumes for a low cost of $10.00/dancer/year.
Adult dancers are responsible for their own Poltava costume. Costumes must be returned laundered at the end of each
year.
